So Annie and myself finished up playing Uncharted 3 this evening. It took a bit longer than the other two because I think playing all three back to back burnt us out a bit.
Having said that we still enjoyed the third game. Certainly more of the same that we have grown to enjoy over the past month playing The Nathan Drake Collections. However we will be taking a break from good ol Drakey boy before we dive into Uncharted 4.
We have Horizon Zero Dawn on rental at the moment so we will be making a start on that at some point before the weekend then making some real headway into it. I’ve heard so much about it and how it is so many people’s game of the year. Excited to see what it’s like.
Not used much of the Switch again for a week or two. I did start to really get into Zelda but I did the classic Open World RPG thing to do and find all the side quests and objectives before progressing the main quest and burnt my self out on it after playing it for 40 hours over the course of a week. I’m hoping to pick it up again soon, I’ve only just taken down the first guardian so I still have a fair way to go. Hope to have it finished by the end of October ready for the new Mario game which I’m super excited for.
I spent the past week or so playing a couple of indie games on the PC. Most notably a Warhammer 40k Diablo style game which is still in early access - you can read my review on here
I’ve also finished a cute Action Adventure game called Figment which I should have a full review out for by the weekend. Real little surprise package that may very well feature on my top 10 Games of the year list.
My PC backlog is getting smaller and smaller every week but I’m going to make a start on Mass Effect 3. Loves Mass Effect 2 but I know what I’m getting in for, I just hope it’s not as bad as everyone has made out. Wish me luck.
